New automated trash and recycling cart service
Starting 1/1/2023 this will be a fully automated route. However, if you would like you may use this cart provided on your next pick-up day. Pick up days will remain the same.
Please have the cart curbside by 6 A.M. or the night before.
How do I set my cart out on collection day?
*Place your cart curbside before 6am on your day of collection, with the carts handle facing your house and the lid opening toward the street. Make sure to place carts at least four feetfrom other objects, such as other carts, parked cars, or mailbox. IF YOUR CART IS OUT LATE, YOU MUST WAIT UNTIL YOUR NEXT PICK-UP DAY.
What should I do if my recycling/garbage does not fit in my cart?
*All recycling/garbage must fit inside the cart with the lid closed.
*Save it for your next collection day.
What if there is a snowbank?
*In case of snow, please clear an opening in the snowbank where the cart can be properly placed. Carts cannot be placed on top of the snowbank or in the road. Improperly placed carts will NOT be collected.
*New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. If your pickup date falls on or after any of the above holidays your pickup day will be the following day.
What if my cart is damaged or needs repair?
*If your cart is damaged or in need of repair because of normal wear and tear, please contact GFL at 920-982-4116.
Bulky items pick up.
If you have items that do not fit in your cart or bulky items, please contact the office to arrange an extra pick up for an additional cost.
